Chef / cook
As part of the training, the trainee chefs gain an insight into the process of a professional kitchen and all the necessary working techniques there, as well as interesting facts about food, nutritional trends and health. SYou will get to know the different types of meat, fish, fruit and vegetables and how they are processed using a wide variety of techniques in a state-of-the-art kitchen.
In addition to the various basic cooking methods such as roasting, braising, poaching and baking, you will learn to plan work processes and be trained in product knowledge, goods storage and ordering.
Since 2022, the necessary know-how for later management tasks in employee management, goods flows and costs is also imparted. Knowledge of vegetarian and vegan cuisine can now also be acquired as an additional qualification.
Requirements
- The trainees should be skilled in their hands and creative at the same time. Physically fit and stress resistant. If you would like to work in a team and bring culinary curiosity and care with you, then you have come to the right place. Mastering basic arithmetic helps with planning and calculating. A specific school-leaving certificate is not required, even with a lower secondary school-leaving certificate it is worth applying.
